o No sn = no age. 50-350 USD
Impossible to answer without the sn. 50-350 USD
this gun, if used in new is selling for 425.00
ABOUT $550, more for tritium night sight model. Box and papers a plus.
The Sn is not useful for telling model differences. This guy is right, the SN is no good for telling what model it is, BUT the best way to tell a 6906 from a 6904 is whether or not the thing is blued. if the gun has a blue frame and slide, it is the 6904. if it is stainless with a silvery slide and frame, it is 6906. ps, the gun has printed on the frame RIGHT BELOW THE SERIAL NUMBER the model number of the gun.

You will have to call S&W
No such model number ever made by S&W. They did make a 6906. Value for a 6906 would be 100-375 USD
I would put value on between $300 - $350
http://www.alpharubicon.com/leo/breakdown5906.htm This site shows the field stripping of the 5906 and the 6906 with excellent how-to text and pictures. That's as much as I've found.
The smith and Wesson model 6906 was made from 1988-1999.I am afraid that is the best I can do.You may want to contact smith and Wesson and see if they can be more accurate in terms of a production date.
@ 21 years ago. Call S&W and they will tell you when it left the factory.
