YOu must provide the serial number.
1973
By this serial number for an Auto5, the gun should be a Light Twelve 12 guage model made in 1956. It is not a Sweet 16.
No serial number provided
1938, Belgium
Impossible to answer without a serial number.

Please identify the model. Looks like it could be an Auto5 made in 1948.
You will have to call Browning
This should be an Auto5 12ga Magnum. We can tell this by the letter "V" in the serial number. However, there has to be a number before the V, which doesent show in your serial number. Are you sure the V is stamped the same way the 640970 is stamped? Could this be a 6V40970? In any case the number is incorrect. Please re-check and ask the question again. Thank you
It shouldn't say light twelve on the barrel, but on the receiver. Light twelve means that the gun is a light weight version of the standard Auto5 shotgun.
