Factory, aftermarket or NFA?
30 inches.
No. Not recommended. The barrel walls are not fit for screw in chokes. Belgian A-5 barrels that had that procedure done in the 60's and 70's were mostly unsuccesful. The barrels ended up being cut down or discarded. Aftermarket screw in chokes worked well with the Over/Under Browning guns, but not the Automatics. It's recommended to purchase a Japanese made barrel (with invector chokes) and have it fitted to your Belgian gun.
The case is fitted for the BSS line of double barrel shotguns made by Browning. It will fit other double guns as well.
The barrel may be able to be fitted however the shotgun would still be limited to 2-3/4" shells. A longer stroke of the bolt is required when shooting the 3" magnum shells which requires a different receiver. Not the best idea.
You made the barrel, fitted the stock to the barrel, then fitted the lock to the stock.
Apologize for the late response to your question You would need to get a quote from the Browning Custom Shop. Not all O/Us can be fitted with dual guage barrels. Try the link below to contact Browning.
Yes.
The shotgun will range in price from 300-400 dollars, depending on overall condition, and a good bore. You may add 55-75 dollars for the extra barrel, and another 50-75 for a fitted browning case.
Slug barrels were not made for auto 5's until 1962. These newer barrels will work, but need to be fitted. You may find a slug barrel for a 16ga on gunbroker.com either Belgian or Japanese, but you will need a qualified gunsmith to fit it to your gun.
It needs to be re-fitted by a qualified Gunsmith. There is no simple way to do this.
no, usually the key barrel can be fitted to the new handles
A barrel shirt is a variant of the pillory. It was a barrel that fitted over the entire body, with the head sticking out from a hole in the top. The criminal is put in either an enclosed barrel, forcing him to kneel in his own filth, or an open barrel leaving him to roam about town or military camp and be ridiculed and scorned.
