it was made bu Colt in 1918. your slide is probably marked 'Ithaca' which was probably due to fueld cleaning. when pistol were put back together all parts were mixed. the Ithaca slide did NOT go back on the Ithaca frame, it went on yout Colt frame...........

The Model 37 was mfg. in 1956. The -4 indicates FULL choke.

There were dozens of different model (and different grades) of Ithaca doubles. You will need a hands on appraisal- sorry. Value could range from $50 to $1000.
