it is not simple to give a value on something that cannot be seen.

think if someone wrote you a message and asked you the price of a Chevy pickup ??

you WOULD ask; what year, what condition, what milage, what size motor, etc....

That is all applicable to gun values.

A gun dealer with look at your gun, in person, and probably offer you 60% of the market price.........he has to make a profit also, he tells you.

Go to a Book Store and buy a copy of 'Blue Book' (gun prices) or just brouse thru it and find S&W model 29 and see the values. Once you have an idea of value you can put it for sale on a gun buy/sell site...........
