this is my favorite bird gun. the value seems to run 250 to 400, depending on the conditon.
My grandfather recently gave me a Stevens 5100 double barrel 12 gauge and I did a little digging and found that Stevens produced the 5100 from 1931-1941. Value, I'm not sure about. I havn't had mine appraised yet. Shoots nice though :)

You could eaither shoot dove with a 20 gauge shotgun or a 12 gauge shotgun. You should also use a bird shot shells
The 5100s were made 1931-1941, then changed to model 311. The 410 will bring a hefty premium, but condition is everything. Low end shooter about $250 nice one with good case colors $800.
