pull the top piece back about half an inch...
as you may have noticed there is no external hammer.
with the top piece pulled back half an inch, push the piece in the back of the top piece in with some kinda poking device... and lift up on the top slide piece.. and it should come right apart.
EDIT: I'm dying to know how that answered the question. The price of anything is what the market will bear. I have one of those junky little weapons, and I wouldn't pay 50 bucks for a brand new one. If you find the right buyer (meaning totally ignorant) you may be able to con him out of $100. I looked on my favorite weaponry auction site (GunBroker) and found four pages of Lorcin-related stuff, but only one single .25 pistol, and that guy started the bids at $139. Needless to say, he didn't have any bids on it. When you consider that the Lorcin .25 is effective basically only at point-blank range, the market for it is very small. It is a last-ditch-effort weapon, used by people as a second or third backup. People who are prepared enough for a backup weapon already know how crappy the Lorcin is, so they don't value it. If your life depends upon something, let it be a good something.
