To disassemble a Remington Peerless over-under shotgun, first ensure the firearm is unloaded and the safety is engaged. Open the action and remove the forearm by pressing the release latch located at the front of the receiver. Next, unscrew the barrel lug nut at the rear of the barrels and gently slide the barrels off the action.
