Not sure what a "22 cap" pump is. The magazine capacity of a Remington pump rifle will depend on which MODEL, and whether you are loading 22 LR, 22 Long, or 22 Short. The Model 121A holds 20 Shorts, 15 longs, or 14 Long Rifle cartridges. A model 12 would hold 15, 12, or 10.
Probably a Remington Model 12 -? depends on barrel, ammo made in 1914.
I think your Remington Model 760 (there were other models also called Gamemaster, but not in 30-06) has a magazine capacity of 4 cartridges.
They made them in four calibers. 25 Remington, 30 Remington, 32 Remington & 35 Remington. The 25 & 32 are obsolete, the 30 was still available in the 80's & the 35 is still available at your larger sporting goods stores. There are dozens of custom reloaders that will still supply ammo for any of these calibers.
6mm Remington twist rate is 1 in 9, 244 Remington twist rate is 1 in 12. The 1 in 12 twist will not stabilize long 100 grain bullets while the 1 in 9 twist will. When the the caliber .224 Remington's name was changed to 6mm Remington, the twist rate was changed.
