Being a 410, you might be able to hold out for $200 if it is in excellent condition. Otherwise, figure $50-$100.
I paid $80 for mine...
The Stevens/Springfield single-shots routinely bring under $100 at retail. sales@countrygunsmith.net
It is a Stevens Model 1929.
what is a 1929 model a worth
In Fort Wayne,In. at the H&H gun shop they have a springfield 1929 single shot 12 ga.in excelent condition for $69.95. Very attractive shotgun. Do you mean to tell me that my Springfield A. 1929 Model Single Shot 12 ga. is only worth $70, that cannot be right. Its not in the blue book, so where is the right value? Why do you think your Springfield Arms shotgun is valuable? You should be able to find it in the Blue Book if you look under Stevens Arms. I know it is in the Standard Catalog of Firearms. Springfield was the economy grade of Stevens which was the second-tier division of Savage. It's a good and serviceable shotgun, but it's still a single shot, break-action, utility gun. You can buy a brand-new Baikal or Boito for $80, so a second-hand gun is going to be less.
Easy. It was made in 1929, hence the model number...
No. It couldn't have been manufactured before 1929.
'1929' is going to be a patent date, not a model number. Eastern Arms Co was not an actual manufacturer, it was a brand name used by Sears on guns they marketed, generally made by the Stevens Arms Co. Value is strictly based on its usability as a shooter, and single-barrel 16ga shotguns will generally sell for less than $100. 1929 is a model number marked on Stevens/Springfield shotguns.
Try E-Gunparts.com check for model 19. as 1929 is not listed.
$10 if broken, rusted or worn out. $60-$90 if a useable firearm. $100-$125 in showroom condition.
