Yes, you can use 2.75-inch shotgun shells in a 12-gauge shotgun that has a 3-inch chamber. The shotgun is designed to accommodate both shell lengths, so firing a 2.75-inch shell will not pose any issues. However, always ensure that the shotgun is in good working condition and that you are using the correct gauge ammunition.
It's only worth what a buyer is prepared to pay !!

$150-$250
The value of a Ted Williams Model 200 20-gauge 3-inch chamber pump shotgun typically ranges between $200 to $400, depending on its condition, age, and any unique features. Factors such as the presence of original packaging, additional accessories, and overall maintenance can also influence its worth. For an accurate appraisal, it's recommended to consult recent sales, gun shows, or a firearms expert.
it is not safe to fire 16 gauge shell in anything but a 16 gauge. No shells will interchange with other gauge guns since a 16 gauge shell would fit in a 12 gauge chamber, I would think you can do this.
