Well, isn't that just a happy little question you've asked! The value of a Redhead brand shotgun with patent number 105358 can vary depending on its condition, age, and any unique features it may have. I recommend reaching out to a knowledgeable firearms appraiser or visiting a reputable gun shop to get a more accurate assessment. Just remember, the true value of a firearm is in the joy and responsibility it brings to its owner.
I have a Ranger Over and Under 12 gauge shotgun with a recoli pad with the same Chicago patent No. 105358. Are there markings you speak of on the recoil pad or on the gun itself?
The value depends on condition and dimensions.
Crescent was in business from 1892 to 1930. If it is a hammerless gun, it was not made before 1903. Value would be from $150-$250 and the Redhead recoil pad is an addon but it's not going to deduct anything from the value like it would on a high-end collectable.
The only way to give an accurate value is to know exactly which brand and model it is, and how old it is.
Store brand from turn of the century. Little value.
Go to www.lcsmith.org for a near complete listing by year and serial number....it is probably not pre 1913. There should be a serial number a serial number under the forestock, on the flat of the barrel, and on the water table of the receiver. Good luck.
what is the value of a Ithaca 12 ga shotgun
I bought a Redhead leather leg of mutton style shotgun case last year in very good condition in & out for $150 Can., I consider I got a fine case at a good price. Hope this helps. I also have had for many years a Redhead tan coloured lightweight hunting vest in near new condition ( elasticized shell loops, rubberized game pouch) , have no idea of it's value. Green Jimmy
Proofhouse.com has a store brand chart. 75-190 USD
Your shotgun was made for Montgomery Ward, using their Western Field brand. It is a Mossberg Model 183T. Value is around $100-$125, depending on condition.
Inexpensive store brand made @ turn of the century. Minimal value.
Proofhouse.com has a store brand chart. Once you find out who made it and what it is (rifle or shotgun) a value can be estimated.
