I have seen this pistol sell for $850.00 in used condition, near mint condition on the low side at various gun shows. You want to find this pistol with atleast two magazines and also with the spanner wrench needed for disassembly to separate the barrel from slide.
The Model 52-2, .38 Master is a very finely made target pistol which will deliver extreme accuracy when properly handloaded for. Cabalas has several as of yesterday, 9/29, and they do move rather fast. I do believe that this pistol is desired by collectors as much as those who desire very accurate mid-range targed pistols.
