The value of a J.C. Higgins FIFLEMAN 4x scope can vary based on its condition, market demand, and collector interest. Typically, these scopes can range from $50 to $150, depending on factors such as originality, functionality, and any included accessories. It's always a good idea to check recent sales on platforms like eBay or consult with firearm appraisal experts for a more precise valuation.
I have a J. C. Higgins model 10516 with the original 4X scope . The scope mount says J.C. Higgins 4X PATD , MFD by W.R. Weaver Co. El Paso TX. IT also has N3 stamped on the mount. Hope this helps.
100-1000 depending on specifics
weaver was the vender but the model was sold as JC Higgins it was a 4 power scope known as JC Higgins marksman both the scope and the mount were unique to the model 31 rifle 583 75 was Made by High Standard manufacturing in 1952 Both the rifle and scope were sold only by Sears & Roebuck and exclusive to them only I see the scope for sale all the time on Ebay they average about 15 to 25 bucks .If you by one make sure it works and that it has it scope mount
please refer to the answer about the model 30 for the probable history of your weapon. as to value, the stock answer is what you paid for it and what you can sell it for is it's value. otherwise they most often sell for around $120.00 to $150.00 depending on condition. an important factor is the original scope by Higgins, the 4x Rifleman, and if the internal sling is there and operational. the rest is of course, finish and wear. good luck bc

10-400 USD or so
Hi, I have one that I inherited and wouldn't take anything for it. Mine has a 4X Weaver scope on it and is a blast to shoot. So value is a personal thing. If not sentimental, probably no more than $150.00 in perfect shape or whatever the top bid is at an auction.
I've seen them sell at $39.00 and up to $60.00, depending on condition.
