By "Pellet guns" I assume you also mean rifles, most guns are not designed for hunting anything larger than a rabbit or squirrel. Several rifles are capable of killing Raccoon. First I suggest you use a .22 caliber or larger pellet to put down the animal. I also suggest you use hunting pellets (hollow-point) they mushroom on impact and make a clean kill, if you hit the raccoon in the head or heart. See the link below to get an Idea of the rifles that are available. One I can suggest is the Hatsan model 95 SAS. It is a .25 caliber "Springer" rifle and packs quite a punch. It's a caliber a little larger than the .22 and won't break the bank at $150, but the choice is yours.
There are two pistols that meet your requirement but they are very expensive. The Marauder Pistol By Benjamin and the Talon-p by Airforce. Both will set you back over $400
It depends on the size of the raccoon, the pellet and the power of the rifle. If you intend to kill the raccoon, then I would suggest hunting pellets ( called hollow point pellets ) and using a .22 caliber pellet rifle. Do not use a BB gun. Hollow point pellets deform when they hit a target and have maximum knockdown power. A head shot is the most humane shot.
Yes. I suggest hollowpoint pellets and a head shot. This is the best and humane way to put down the animal
Yes

No... Corrected answer.-------------- It depends on the caliber and power of your Pellet gun. But Yes it is possible. In fact many pellet guns and rifles are used for rodent control.
Yes
Yes, a pellet gun has the potential to kill a rabbit if it hits a vital organ or causes significant damage to the animal's body. It is important to use caution and follow proper safety guidelines when using a pellet gun for hunting or pest control.
If you are talking about a PCP (PreCharged Pneumatic) rifle. With a .45 caliber pellet, then "Yes" It can. I don't believe there is a 40 Caliber pellet gun.
Yes it just depends how well you place the pellet and the fpe on the rifle a head-shot on a raccoon is good and heart and lung shot is good but you should place the shot at only how good the gun and your own air rifle about 25-30 yards. Your rifle should have at least 1000 feet per second.
