On the left side of the barrel it will say 2 9/16 or 2 3/4 shells. The FN version that was sold outside the US will say "2.5Cart" which was the European designation for the 2 9/16 cartridges. All Post War Browning Auto5 guns from 1946+ were chambered for 2 3/4" shells.
It should be marked on the barrel or chamber. If it is not, go to a gunsmith and ask for a chamber cast to be made.
If it is not stamped on the barrel or you do not trust the barrel markings, the only reliable way is to have a gunsmith make a casting of the chamber.
It's usually on the left side of the loading chamber or barrel.

With a 23+ inch barrel, this is deadly accurate. I have a 572 with a barrel that length & stamped with a symbol that looks like a Chevy symbol & the letter E Z. Nothing else. This rifle was purchase in 1976 as a Field-master pump & I have been searching for years to find out why this rifle has a barrel made in October 1931on it. Now I know it's a leftover from that period & assembled on to the 572 Field-master when ever. The serial number is 190930x. I have no idea when this was assembled. Hope you find this uninformative.
On the back of the pistol you will find a long lever, slide it to one side and load in your BBs. Under the barrel you will find a thumb loader to load each shot into the firing chamber between each shot.
