Yesterday, 8-8-09, I purchased a used (well used and fired a lot, certainly not a collector now) Marlin 39A Mountain Man Commemorative and paid $325.00 for it. One new in the box should go for almost twice that much here in Southeastern US. Bill

The value of a Marlin .22 Mountain Man Commemorative Edition can vary significantly based on its condition, rarity, and current market demand, but it typically ranges between $300 to $800. Factors such as original packaging, documentation, and any unique features can also influence the price. For the most accurate valuation, it's advisable to consult recent sales data or a firearms appraiser.
Not a commemorative, but more of a limited edition. Doesn't really hold any more value than the standard model unless it is absolutely new in the box with all accompanying paperwork. Figure $200-$250. sales@countrygunsmith.net
