You need to repost, give the model and caliber, and the complete serial number. N is not a serial number, and there is more than one Springfield.
The 29-2 began production in 1961. If the serial number starts with an N, then your handgun was made between 1977 and 1978.
I found one website that said S/N 362699 was made in 1908.
