Stevens 25 caliber rimfire bullets can typically be found at specialty gun shops, sporting goods stores that focus on ammunition, or online retailers that sell vintage or hard-to-find ammunition. Additionally, local gun shows or firearms auctions may also have vendors offering these specific calibers. It's important to check the availability and ensure compliance with local laws regarding ammunition purchasing.
where can i find replacement parts for a 22 caliber Stevens modle987
I can find no listing for a J. Stevens model 80. There was, though, a model #83 bolt action made in various rimefire calibers including the .25 rimfire. This firearm was discontinued in about 1942. I find it difficult to believe that many .25 caliber models were made that late though. Unless you were to find an avid Stevens collector I doubt if you could get more than $300 for it as ammo is just about imposible to find.
you can find parts for your Stevens at bob`s gun parts .com
Possibly Numrich Gun Parts of NY.www.e-gunparts.com

You aren't supposed to dry fire .22 rifles because they are rimfire. If you want to do this, you need to find some .22 dummy rounds.
Is it a Model 4 or a Model 6 or a rolling block? Try posting over at http://www.remingtonsociety.com/forums/
Caliber means the diameter of the bullet. A .40 caliber cartridge has a bullet that is .40 inches in diameter. A 9mm cartridge has a bullet that is 9 millimeters in diameter. Yup...reminds me of Joe the Human Cannonball at the circus...Poor Joe died but they couldn't find a replacement of his caliber.
By listing your serial number, and the model number with the caliber your shotguns was chambered in.please include this in your question.
try bob`s gun parts. they carry parts for lots of old guns
The only thing i could find on the Stevens model 15-A .22 rifle, i found one selling for $50 on auction. Is there any markings or serial numbers on the gun.
