You can find 30-round magazines for the Russian SKS at various retailers that specialize in firearms and accessories, both online and in physical stores. Websites like Brownells, MidwayUSA, and GunBroker often carry aftermarket magazines. Additionally, local gun shops or gun shows may have them available. Always ensure that you're complying with local laws regarding magazine capacity and firearm modifications.

Stevens model 62 savage arms 22 caliber/30 round clip
It will vary depending on the make of your 30 round magazine. Rarely do I find a 30 round aftermarket magazine that works well for these rifles, and reloading with stripper clips is quite fast. If it were mine, I would not.
It's a magazine, not a clip. To install one, you have to field strip the rifle to the point where you remove the trigger assembly - once this is completed, you can remove any existing fixed magazine and replace it with another fixed magazine of your choosing. Instructions can be found at the related links at the bottom.

The M1 Garand shoots the 30 ot 6, so if you want stopping power its better. The SKS uses the 7.62x39, also has great stopping power, but the SKS is way cheaper. Personally i like the SKS better.
There have been several variants. Most commonly, 20 round or 30 round magazines, but may use a 40 or 75 round drum.
The StG-44 used a 30-round detachable box clip. The rounds were 7.92mm.

Go one the net and there are many sites that show the parts break down. The SKS is amazing firearm for the price and the 7.62 x 39 is almost as good as the much more expensive 30- 30
