The serial number on a Winchester 1200 shotgun is typically located on the underside of the receiver, near the trigger guard. It may also be found on the barrel, near the chamber area. If you're having difficulty locating it, consult the owner's manual for specific guidance related to your model.
contact your state police. they can (if they will) contact FBI with serial number of gun to see if it matches a current owner..................
your trapdoor was made in 1881. there is seldom any history unless obtained from owners family who would know much about the gun and owner.
First your serial number indicates that your Winchester model 62 was made in the year 1942.The model 62 was never produced by Winchester with a Nickel plated finish from the factory. These gallery guns were used through out the country at circus,s and thats where the term gallery gun comes from(shooting galleries).at some point in time a circus owner or private individual had your model 62 nickel plated.

Honda installed several different radios in CR-V's.First: look in your owner's manual. Just maybe, the selling dealer or a previous owner wrote it down in there somewhere. Second: you will need the radio's serial number. Some radios will display the serial number - when you turn it on if the display says "code" try pressing buttons 1 and 6 simultaneously, that might dispaly the radio serial number. If not, you will have to pull the radio case far enough out of the dashboard to see the plate containing the serial number either on the back or the underside of the radio. When you have the serial number, call or go to your local Honda Dealer and give them the serial number, they should be able to give you the code.
