Derringer 2 Shot, 357 Mag, SN 929, what is the value
What is the value of a Davis Derringer pistol magnum 2 shot?
Depends on (real) type and condition, condition, and condition. I assume you mean a double derringer (model 95)? Where did 1866 come from? A type I model 1 couldn't have a serial that high. (and that's the only one made in 1866) A type I model 2 doesn't have a serial no but a batch no A type II model 3 may or may not have a serial based on which variation it is but that's starting in 1888.
Dozens. The ORIGINAL was Deringer. The later copies were spelled with 2 letters R- Derringer.
To determine the fraction represented by the shaded part of a model, first identify the total number of equal parts in the model and the number of shaded parts. The fraction can be expressed as the number of shaded parts over the total number of parts. For example, if there are 4 total parts and 2 are shaded, the fraction would be 2/4, which simplifies to 1/2.
There is a Blue Book of Handguns that should give you a start. But the "value" depends a great deal on the condition the piece is in.What is the serial number? Is it in the original box? There is an American Derringer website and you can probably float queries around e-bay and amazon-ville to get a clearer direction.Good luck, doc

Well, darling, "cdm long 2 derringer" doesn't really make any sense. Maybe you meant "cm long 2 derringer"? In that case, "cm" stands for centimeters, which is a unit of length. So, the value would just be the length of 2 derringers in centimeters. Hope that clears things up for you, sugar.
A small pistol / Derringer w/ rotating barrels, imported. Mostly brass colored w/ black barrel 2 shot cap.

Check with a gunsmith. These were inexpensive guns to start, and there are not many sources for parts. Depending on the part, a smith may be able to make one, but the cost may exceed the value of the gun.
