You can get weapons at any shop. You need gold (which you can get as quest drops or from monsters) or maybe coins called Adventure Coins, which you have to buy to get it. Go to a shop, click on a weapon and click Buy. You will find it in your inventory.
To make it stronger, you can enhance it. Go to Twilly, find the enhancement suitable for you (I suggest Hybrid) and click on the NPC which has enhancement. Find one enhancement, buy it and apply to weapon of choice.
You can also get weapons from monsters or as quest rewards, but you have to enhance it. Follow instructions above.
