Made in the U.S.A.
This should be a Nomad model made in 1962. Not a Buckmark although similar
Yes
The Browning Buckmark is a very well made, durable, reliable handgun. I am personally partial to Rugers and Colts, but also like the Brownings.

Never made in Belguim
Micro
The Buckmark is a newer version of the same design. Challengers came in 3 models or versions (I, II, III), each being made after the former was discontinued. The Challenger III was very very close to the current Buckmark design, with the aluminum frame in common with the Buckmark. Challenger I and II both had steel frames.
at the library
the value is between 90-150 dollars, for a buckmark hunter showing between 60%-90% of its original finish, and a good bore.
