A Kicker cvr 10 or 12 inch DVC 4 ohm sub
750 watts
For the money the L5 is the best sub by far. Then it would be the CVR series.
There are many places online where one may purchase Kicker L7 15 sub woofers. This includes specialty sound websites such as "sonicelectronix" or more traditional shopping websites such as Amazon or eBay.
You can go to Kicker.com for the wiring diagrams for your sub.
yes, kicker is a good brnad and can have so much base that if you have it in a car and you have it hooked up good then you might wanna buy some plexi glass.
Kicker of course. Kicker makes car audio products, not home theater subs. The term 'hardest hitting' isn't a measurable quantity. For the sub with the most power, try the Tannoy TS212iDP, a subwoofer with 1500 Watts and 2 12" drivers.
kicker ZX650.4 for sure
The sub model name tends to be on the lower sides of the receiver, not sure about serial.
Someone over on the P38forum.com, in the PPK sub forum, might have access to the sn data.
Removing SubwooferIt is a tedious task, however simple if you have patience. In order to get the sub woofer out, you need to take out the paneling and floor in the back. Start with the plastic knobs near the rear hatch door and then pull the floor back and the panel with the cup holder. I believe i needed to take back the panel on the inside of the rear pillar as well. Everything snaps back in place, so it is not a big deal. Just don't force anything so that you don't crack the plastic. The subwoofer is mounted from the back, so that is the only way to actually get to the hardware holding it in place. Otherwise it will just spin and spin if you try from the front. i replaced mine about 2 years ago with an 8" Kicker, however i think the factory sub had better sound. The amp is designed specifically for that sub. However, it did blow out and the kicker gets the job done.
It's a dead subwoofer.
