Savage/Stevens, Marlin and Mossberg all made guns under the Western Auto Brand name. Colt even made a revolver under Western Auto, the model 880A-ECH. Since you specified hi power bolt action rifle, without more information I would guess the Savage model 340 or possibly the Savage 110. I am also fairly certain that there was a Mossberg center fire bolt action rifle made branded under Western Auto. Plus there are others. If you have the model number off of the barrel of your rifle it will help identify exactly which rifle you have.

The Revelation .308 was sold by Western Auto in the 1970's. It has 8 grooves and a 16" twist on the bolt action model. I am not sure who the manufacturer was; but Western Auto is still in business and perhaps they would know.
It was made by Mossberg around 1930 plus a few years. It was a low budget bolt action rifle Mossberg model 321 or 320 under the Western Auto name
From the best I can tell, the Western Auto 325BB model was made by Mossberg.

Are you sure it's not a revelation? I have a 16 gauge bolt action that was sold by western auto. It actually is made by marlin
To remove the bolt action from a Western Auto Revelation .243, first ensure the firearm is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction. Open the bolt and locate the bolt release lever, typically found on the right side of the receiver. Depress the release while pulling the bolt rearward to completely remove it from the action. Always consult the owner's manual for specific instructions related to your model.
