Iver Johnson did produce a variety of firearms, including rifles and shotguns, but they are not known for manufacturing a .30 caliber carbine with a synthetic stock. The most recognized .30 caliber carbine is the M1 Carbine, primarily produced by companies like Inland, Winchester, and IBM during World War II. While Iver Johnson may have made firearms with synthetic stocks, there is no well-documented evidence of them specifically producing a .30 caliber carbine in that configuration.
Winchester introduced the Model 64 in January of the year 1933 (as a replacement for the Model 55). It remained in production until 1957, with a few additional parts clean-up guns made into the early 1960s. A total of 66,783 were made. The value can not be deteremined without knowing several details; (1) What variant is it, e.g. Sporting Rifle, Deer Rifle (deluxe checkerd stocks), Carbine, or deluxe Carbine? (2) What is the graded condition? Bert H.

I will need to know when it was made, and the serial number will tell me that. Thise that were made prior to WW II are worth more than those made after the War. Additionaly, it is important to know which variant it is (e.g. Sporting Rifle, Deer Rifle (deluxe stocks with checkering), Carbine (20-inch barrel versus the standard 24-inch), or a Deluxe Carbine.
