Most common causes- gun is dirty, lacks lubrication, does not like THAT cartridge brand, bent lips on magazine, gun has been dry fired (fired with no cartridge in chamber) and firing pin has dinged the chamber mouth.

.22 rimfire ammo is rather dirty. I would start by cleaning the pistol using CLP or a spray gun cleaner, lubricate lightly, and use a quality brand of ammunition such as CCI. If that does not cure the problem, it needs a visit to a pistolsmith.
