No, the Winchester-Westernfield Model 240W and Winchester Model 1400 are different shotguns with distinct designs and specifications. Parts from one model typically do not interchange with the other due to variations in manufacturing and design. Always consult a knowledgeable gunsmith or refer to specific parts catalogs for accurate compatibility information.
The is is for the most part, yes.
None that I am aware of.
The Winchester model 25 was the non take down version of the Model 12 pump action shotgun. These shotguns were made from 1949-1954.There were only 87,937 shotguns made during this time span. They were chambered in 12 gauge only and were available with either a 26in,or 28in barrel. While this was made as a model 12 non taken down model, one must presume that the ability to interchange parts between the model 12 and model 25 is possible.I would look to Numrich Gun Parts Corp.as a possible source for these parts.

Pre-64 Winchesters had many forged and hand-fitted parts while those made later are machine-stamped. If you haven't studied metal working enough to recognize the difference, 1964 production bagan with serial number 2586001.
Some parts will interchange, many will not. sales@countrygunsmith.net
