You are probably not loading it properly after you put the BBs n the reservoir. Crosman mad around different versions of the 760 but all of them load almost the same. I suggest you go o the Crosman home page and click on "Download a manual" and locate you owners manual and read the section on loading BBs
Or see the link below.
The Crosman 760 doesn't shoot Bullets it shoots BB's or .177 caliber Pellets.
No the Pumpmaster has more power and can shoot BBs or Pellets
Pointed Pellets will have more penetration.
These rifles are very similar. Their are several variations of both rifles. Basically it came down to the shots that could be stored ( BB's) the original 760 only shot BB's and held 180 BB's. later versions could also shoot .177 pellets. The Pump Master had an 18 shot BB mag and a 5 shot .177 pellet mag
First of all the 760 Pumpmaster can shoot any brand of BB's without any harm. But if you want Copperhead then I suggest you look at any sporting goods store. Like Walmart or Kmart. If you can not locate them then I suggest looking Online at Pyramydair they are the largest air gun store online.
BB's are loaded on the left side just to the rear of the trigger. Pellets are loaded one shot at a time in the opening at the top of the rifle.
1^5^6 * * * * * That is wrong! 760 = 23*5*19
Yes, but I would use Pellets not BB's in the rifle. Pellets are more accurate and deform on impact. BB's are not as accurate and do not deform on impact.
Yes but do not shoot it with BB's. They do not deform on impact and will make the duck suffer. Pellets will deform and make a quick kill. Also use hunting pellets (Hollow-point) they are designed to deform on impact. I suggest a head shot is best. Make sure you are using full power on the rifle. Pellets also fly straighter than BB's It is a 760 crosman pump master
Only if the gun is designed for BB's. Some air rifles are designed to shoot either. Usually they are the multy pump design like the Crosman 760 or the Daisy 880, but air rifles will say right on the barrel that they are designed for .177 cal pellets or .22 caliber pellets and these rifles or guns should not use BB's. BB's will damage the rifling in the barrel.
It's capable of doing 215 mph
