In Ukrainian folklore, Father Frost, known as Ded Moroz, is typically accompanied by his granddaughter Snegurochka, rather than reindeer. Reindeer are more commonly associated with Santa Claus in Western cultures. Therefore, Father Frost's sleigh in Ukraine is traditionally not pulled by reindeer.
Father Christmas uses a magical sleigh, which is pulled by nine flying reindeer.
That would be cool.
Ireland
with Reindeer
He only chooses the best six reindeer to fly his sleigh.
On his sleigh? Reins. Santa puts reins on his reindeer that are attached to his sleigh. :D
Reindeer
It's a sleigh (large sled) but don't think it has another name
Santa's reindeer of course
In the UKRAINE, Father Frost visits all the children in a sleigh pulled by only three reindeer. He brings along a little girl named Snowflake Girl. She wears a silver blue costume trimmed with white fur and a crown shaped like a snowflake.
In winter, Santa Claus uses his reindeer to pull his sleigh and deliver presents to children around the world.
No Santa rides a sleigh which is pulled by reindeer!
