Can you put a smaller pulley on a snowblower to make the auger turn faster its 8.5 inch now how small can you go before you lose power?

THE PULLEY IS THAT SIZE FOR A REASON. I WOULD ASSUME THE MANUFACTURER DESIGNED IT AT THE OPTIMUM SPEED AS TO HAVE ENOUGH POWER TO PICK UP THE AVERAGE AMOUNT OF SNOW AND TO THROW THE SNOW ADEQUATE DISTANCE. THERE IS A DIRECT PROPORTION BETWEEN POWER AND SPEED. IF YOU MAKE A CHANGE TO INCREASE SPEED, THEN YOU WILL DECREASE POWER (AND VISE VERSA). THE QUESTION IS HOW MUCH POWER CAN YOU AFFORD TO LOOSE? THIS WILL DEPEND ON HOW DEEP THE SNOW IS AND HOW WET THE SNOW IS. IS THE MACHINE HAVING TROUBLE PICKING UP THE SNOW OR IS IT NOT THROWING IT FAR ENOUGH? IF YOUR ANSWER IS BOTH, YOU MAY WANT TO CONSIDER A BIGGER MACHINE.

Why does Canada get lots of snow?

What does the idiom trust you as far as i can throw you mean?

It means that you'd trust somebody very little, if at all. No average-size human could throw another one, or one who was bigger than they, beyond a very short distance, meaning that the amount you'd trust them would be equally short.

What does the idiom as fat as i can throw you mean?

I believe the idiom you're looking for is "You can't trust a person further than you can throw them". The meaning is meant that you cannot trust someone because you can't throw them very far.
