For Engines: Anti Freeze is most commonly Glycol and anti-corosion aditives that the consumer mixes with water to use as engine coolant. There are other Liquids than Glycol in use for the same purposes.

In Popular culture: in the 1990s Antifreeze was used to mean bad cheap Liquor or Home Made Liquor with the underlying premiss that it may cause blindness like antifreeze when drunk.

Now there has been a Drug around called Antifreeze. But what it is and what it does I don't know. I am just too old.
