Revolutionary fever was rising higher and higher. With the monarchy and its governemnt in moral and financial collapse, the service also collapsed which added to the chaos. Mobs began to form, for there was no restraint on what they could or couldn't do because of the service of the government. The king and Assembly would not unite for they both held each other suspicious. The king was persuaded to take some of his guards and put them on the streets of Paris to show strength and power. But the workers and craftsmen seized every weapon they could find and attacked.
The Reign of Terror during the French Revolution was a scary time for many. The revolutionaries would execute people by the guillotine. They executed anyone who opposed the revolution. If someone was found not supporting the revolution 100% thy would simply be executed in the middle of town. In order to catch these people, extremist revolutionaries would spy on others.During the Great Terror, it is estimated that 800 people were executed per month in Paris alone.
The French revolution moved into a violent phase or reign of terror due to factionalism involving the Girondins and the Jacobins.
Power and control went from the man on the street to the smooth talking political wags and wonks who were often lawyers that were considered to be both bright and capable. These bright young men were glad to take on the awesome responsibility and they in turn became the Jacobin defenders of the French Revolution and the creators of the Reign of Terror.
Education which caused so long preserved of the family and the Church was taken over by the Republican State. Secondly Education was turn into duty for all citizens.
The French Revolution gave the world a different model from the American Revolution. The American Revolution was a giving of rights taken away or an extension of rights. The Bill of Rights in the Constitution simply listed rights that various kings had previously affirmed belonged to all Englishmen. The American Revolution limited the tyranny government could do. The French Revolution on the other hand presented a violent overthrow of the old order. It was not an evolutionary change but a revolutionary change. Many revolutionary groups chose to follow the French style of Revolution. The main one was communism. The politburo was a thinly disguised committee on public safety. It served the same purpose. Stalin was Robespierre. They begin with high sounding rhetoric. It had a dream based on platitudes. It disintegrates into chaos. The dream that a people can live by platitudes keeps appearing and never works. A group takes over the government and becomes terrorist. The impact of the French Revolution has been to destroy the old order. Like the French Revolution, the Russian Revolution and the Chinese Revolution destroyed the old landowning nobility. All revolutions based on the French Revolution do that. Then internal corruption brings the collapse of the revolution. When no other way is seen to exist to get rid of a powerful entrenched nobility, a French revolution may occur. When the task is to prevent a return of tyranny as it was in Germany after World War 2, an American Revolution may occur.
could it be argued that the american revolution turned against its roots
No ruler will have more power than the parliament.

It is a broad topic, which is at risk of over-simplification here. Types of terror -- cyber-space and physical (suicidal and non-suicidal) Themes of terror -- religious or secular; ideological or non-ideological. Means of terror -- virtual (internet) or physical (chemical, nuclear, biological, conventional) you can google each one on the web ===================================
Internally, popular sentiments radicalized the Revolution significantly, culminating in the rise of Maximilien Robespierre and the Jacobins and virtual Dictatorship by the Committee of Public Safety during the Reign of Terror from 1793 until 1794 during which between 16,000 and 40,000 people were killed.[1] After the fall of the Jacobins and the execution of Robespierre, the Directory assumed control of the French state in 1795 and held power until 1799, when it was replaced by the Consulate under Napoleon Bonaparte.
Yes. And it was refused. The French Revolution in turn seized all of the property of the Catholic Church and sold it to the highest bidder.

A huge national debt and an unfair tax system which in turn led to food shortages and high prices.
A number of similarities may be found in the French Revolution and the Industrial Revolution. For one thing, both were 'revolutionary' in a basic sense: they resulted in radical social changes in and outside of the particular regions where they took place. At the same time, both were viewed with tremendous hostility and with tremendous optimism by various contemporary participants and observers.
"Revolution" is ultimately from the Latin word volvere, "to turn around."
they turn like the Earth a revolution is one complete turn-which is 24 hours here or the length of our day.
