Make it impossible for future world wars too begin
Wilson had a dream of ending all war in the future. He had the picture of a League of Nations that would settle any disputes between countries and remove any cause for war. He thought of WWI as being the "War to end all wars."
Woodrow Wilson.
President Wilson wanted the United States to remain neutral at the beginning of World War I primarily because he believed that the nation should avoid entanglement in European conflicts and maintain its role as a peace broker. He thought that involvement in the war would disrupt the American economy and society and that neutrality would allow the U.S. to promote peace and offer mediation between the warring parties. Additionally, Wilson aimed to protect the diverse population of the U.S., many of whom had ties to both the Allied and Central Powers.
President Woodrow Wilson wanted to enter World War I primarily to protect American interests and promote democracy worldwide. He believed that the war presented an opportunity to make the world "safe for democracy" and to establish a new international order based on collective security and peace. Additionally, repeated violations of American neutrality and the threat posed by German U-boats to American shipping further compelled him to advocate for U.S. involvement in the conflict.
It matters on whos side your looking from. If you were looking from USA's perspectvie, then no, it was not fair, since president Wilson wanted to treat Germany with peace after the war. If you are looking from the rest of the Allied power's view, it was perfectly fair considering all the lives that were lost in the war

It was called the League of Nations and was the precurser to today's United Nations. The League of Nations was the association of countries President Wilson wanted to form. Woodrow Wilson was America's 28th President.

He thought that Germany was a powerful country. But ever since the unrestricted submarine warfare they have wanted to bring in other allies. Brought to the alliance system.
Wilson was not in the best of health at the time of the negotiations. The European Allies all wanted to severely punish Germany for starting the war.The European Allies all wanted to recover the costs of fighting the war from Germany.etc.
the kaiser is ousted and a new republic accepts Woodrow Wilson's terms for peace
the allies agreed but they also wanted to punish Germany for starting the war: war guilt clause.
James Wilson believed in a voice of the people, that the people have a right to vote for their governmental leader. He also wanted a strong president with a very large scope of power. In addition, James Wilson couldn't disagree more with the delegates of the constitutional convention who wanted to keep slavery in the new nation. He was one of the biggest abolitionists ever.
Well he wanted to help us by creating a war so we could fight and show wat we wanted.
President Wilson was the author of the famous '14 Points' as a basis for the peace treaty to be conducted between the Allies and the Axis countries after WW1. When peace negotiations started, he did however not manage to convince England and France to adopt his 14 points as the basis for negotiations, since they chose to go out for enormous damage payments and wanted to cripple Germany as an economic and military threat. The only plan of Wilson that was accepted was the formation of a League of Nations, although Germany was not invited to join and Wilson's own US in the end refused to join it.
