This question wants a summary of world history in a small space. I can give you places that featured strongly in world history but really you need to get some books on the subject. I have a set of 10 world history books that are 3-4 inches thick on the subject. So I can't give you a detailed answer. There were the nations in what is called the Middle East. They had the Ottoman Rule, Persian Rule and Islam rulers and even British rule. Eventually they came to be the nations they are now. There was Asia with the giant nation of India and all their neighbors. Some of them were ruled by the Brits. They won their independence and contributed to the world with their beautiful culture and artistic things. Then there was Europe with all their nations. They had a pile of wars between monarchs and the common people. It all led up to World War 1 and World War 2. Then we formed the United Nations and new nations were born later out of the Cold War ending. Now, we have conflicts between the western world and the Islamic world. Those are some of the places significant in World History. Africa and South America figured in all too.
