There were a series of Neutrality Acts passed in the 1930s during the rise of Hitler, the last being the Neutrality Act of 1939. The Lend-Lease Act, which was passed in 1941, officially ended America's neutrality.

What factors contributed to the outbreak world war 2 in Europe?

Hitler's rise to power, most notably. The German people still harbored animosity toward Europe over reparations from World War I, and many supported Hitler's call for a larger German state. He quickly began expanding the new German Empire through annexation of smaller nations, and then began attacking other countries who wouldn't join him (except for those who pledged neutrality, such as the USSR). When he invaded Poland on September 1, 1939, Great Britain and her allies (including Canada, Australia, British India, New Zealand, etc.) declared war on Hitler and his allies.

because we should learn about our history and issues what could be replicated now with the current Libya crisis, and also learn about the rise of Adolf Hitler which leads on to WW2 which opens the door to plenty of conspiracies from JFK and many more interesting stories

Was Hitler's rise to power the cause of World War two?

Not really, there were many factors that led to WW2. Hitler's rise to power came about because he gave hope, initially, to a very dejected nation, the result of a very rigid Versailles Treaty that was signed at the end of WW1. WW2 would probably have come about anyway as there was a lot of unrest in the world, Europe especially. The war in Europe would have taken a very different turn had Hitler not come to power but it would have still occurred, perhaps without the mass genocide of Jews, the disabled and other minorities. That part of WW2 that occurred in the Pacific would still have eventuated. Japan would probably have bombed Pearl Harbour and invaded those parts of Asia and Australia that it did invade and bomb.
