The Wh is the makers mark. I don't know what company it is. But I know that some jewelry makers put there mark next to the karat of the gold.
If it is marked 14K or some other karat gold, the v probably means that it was made in 1995. could stand for gold vermeil though so you should find out from a jeweler.

It sounds like a maker's mark indicating who made the ring and that it's 14k, or a little over 50% gold.
