Since World War II, the development of the internet and advancements in container shipping have significantly increased globalization. The internet has facilitated instant communication and access to information across the globe, enabling businesses and individuals to connect and collaborate more easily. Meanwhile, container shipping revolutionized trade by standardizing cargo transport, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency, thereby promoting international commerce. Together, these inventions have helped create a more interconnected global economy.

The greatest impact on the development of a global economy has likely come from advancements in technology, particularly in communication and transportation. Innovations such as the internet and container shipping have drastically reduced barriers to trade and enabled instantaneous global interactions. This interconnectedness has facilitated international commerce, investment, and the flow of information, effectively shrinking the world and fostering economic interdependence among nations. Additionally, these technological advancements have contributed to the rise of multinational corporations and global supply chains, further integrating economies worldwide.

No. In general the danish draughtsman and poster artist Sven Brasch cannot be called an art Art Nouveau artist in my opinion. Though Brasch made his debut (according to author Peter Holst Eriksen) already in 1906, the age of Jugendt/Art Art Nouveau, or Skønvirke as the movement was coined in Denmark, where Brasch was born and most of his life worked, he can more be attributed to the Art Deco style/movement. His danish 1922 poster for the US produced 1917 silent feature film 'Cleopatra', starring Theda Bara, is said to be one of the finest danish examples of Art Deco. Some of his early drawings to newspapers, magazines etc. does have a hint of art nouveau-ish feeling to them though, especially when drawing women. But I find Brasch not easily put into a style-container, as he adopted/used several "styles". Hope this helped a bit. Jakob Persson
