There were many significances of World War 2 worldwide. The world had to learn to live in peace with all their differences. They needed to learn to manage global problems, economies and how to help one another. The United Nations was formed to accomplish this. They wanted to stop wars, prevent wars and learn to get to know one another and learn to live in peace. The leaders of the world and the general populous learned they must not let fascist leaders and dictators take over and oppress countries (Like Hussein). They also learned they must share knowledge and help each other with vast problems (such as hurricane, earthquake and other torrential damages) and to agree to disagree. The win win concept had to reign over other concepts. It also showed people of the nations they can come together to achieve a lot to solve a huge problem. They learned women and blacks and others can contribute to the world economy and community. It was time for change and they did it.
