The world in which we are currently living is the world without peace, compare to what Jehovah God's purpose for mankind was in the beginning.

According to the first Book of The Bible Genesis 2: 15-17, the human race was offered the opportunity to live on an earth, where there was everything needed to be happy. The standards were set by the One who had given them the gift of life. They were required to not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and bad.

Adam knew that if he did not eat from the tree, he would not die. That command in Genesis 2: 17 would have made no sense, if Adam was meant to grow old and die anyway.

Genesis chapter 3 and Romans 5: 12 is mankind's history and it shows how death was spread like a disease on mankind.

The Bible also teaches that the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one in 1 John 5: 19. Revelation 12: 9 describes the wicked one as the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth.

Genesis 3: 4 shows that original serpent promised Eve that she will be like God. Well ! that did not happen, did it? They grew old and they returned to the dust, that they were created with, read Genesis 2: 7. And down to this day, we return to dust, with a lot of days of suffering as it is written in Genesis 3: 16-19, "a world without peace".

Peace was taken from our habitat Earth, but God's purpose for mankind has not changed, which is why 2'000 years ago, he sent his precious Son on earth to redeem the human race from the curse of sin and death and to undo the damage caused by Satan. Read John 3: 16 ; 1 John 3: 8.

We are living in the world under Satan's influence, with people who have the godlike complex, and feel free to cause suffering on many. Ecclesiaste 8:9 reminds us that man has dominated man to his harm or ( injury; detriment ).

Daniel 2: 44 shows that human rule must be replaced. And that is why Jesus told us to pray for God's kingdom to come, where His will, will be done as in heaven also on earth in Matthew 6: 9,10.

God's kingdom is a government that will undo all the harm that millenniums of human rule have done. It will provide : prefect health, peace and security and a clean environment for all those who choose to live up to God's standards.

Psalm 37: 29 reads. " The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it." Which is God's purpose that was postponed.

God has given mankind enough time for them to come to the conclusion written in Jeremiah 10: 23 in these words " It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step."

So to answer your question: As long as the world is lived by people described in 2 Timothy 3: 1-5 as people who are lovers of themselves, lovers of money, haughty, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, without love of goodness, and so forth.... our world is going to be "a world without peace".

Peace will,be built by those who dislike all forms of conflicts, those who have chosen to change their personality, with the qualities written in Galatians 5: 22,23 such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

2 Peter reads. "But there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise (God's promise) and in these righteousness is to dwell." That is what is called "a world with peace "

How come we don't have world peace?

To have peace, the human race has to conduct themselves in a peaceful way. War and crime is commetted by humans who lack the knowledge of wisdom in their choices. Have you ever wondered why is there so much war if everone wants peace? The Bible teaches that we must love one another. Read John 15: 12 The problem is we no longer know what it means to love anymore. Galatians 5: 22,23 gives us the idea of what it means to be educated by God. " The fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control. against such things there is no law. Furthermore the Bible also teaches us that the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one in 1 John 5: 19. And the wicked one is described in Revelation 12: 19 in these words. " The original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth. which explains why our world is in such turmoil. The situation in which we are is part of the prophecy given by Jesus in Matthew 24: 3-12 that speaks about the conclusion of the system in which we are living. Jesus' answer is that we will live in a world where nation will rise against nation, food shortage, earthquakes in one place after another. This is the result of the human race that has chosen to no longer be guided by their Creator. Genesis 2: 17 shows that the first couple was given the freedom to choose Jehovah God's voice. Genesis 3: 1-5 and Romans 5: 12 is mankind's history. The Bible also explains that it is God's kingdom or government that is going to make the world a better place to live. Read Daniel 2: 44 and Matthew 6: 9,10. Psalms 37: 29 reads. " The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it". To become righteous according to God's standards, humans have to be shaped by the Most High. Isaiah 64: 8 reads. " O Jehovah, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are our Potter". Romans 9: 2 reads. " Does not the Potter have authority over the clay . Genesis 2. 7 reminds us that we were created with the dust from the ground. The message is that the human race needs to be guided by the Most High, who created all things. Read Revelation 4: 11 Jeremiah 10: 23 came to this conclusion that " It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step". God has left the human race enough time to come to the same conclusion as Jeremiah. And 2'000 years ago he sent his precious Son on earth to redeem the human race from the curse of sin and death and to undo the damage done by Satan's world. Matthew 6: 9,10 shows that Jesus told us to pray for God's kingdom to come, where His will, will take place as in heaven also on earth. God's Kingdom is the government that will undo all the harm that millenniums of human rule have done. It will provide : Perfect health, peace and security, and a clean environment for all those who take their stand for God's government. So to answer your question , which is How come we don't have world peace. The answer is found in 2 Timothy 3: 1-5 which describes people's behaviour in these words. " For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, unthankful, disloyal without self-control and so forth.... So it is easy to understand that such choice of behaviour cannot created a world of peace.

Why isn't there peace in the world?

The Bible answers why there is currently no peace in the world. 2 Timothy 3:1-4 mentions, “In the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be . . . fierce, without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride.” We live in “the last days” of the present wicked world, a time when prevailing attitudes make peace difficult. Another reason is mentioned at Revelation 12:12, “Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.” The Devil causes all the suffering we see in the world. But God will eliminate him in his due time. Also government leaders, even those with the best motives, can’t devise lasting solutions for the root causes of war. Daniel 2:44 mentions a solution that Jehovah God has for the future. "In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever." God’s Kingdom, not any human government, will satisfy our desire for permanent world peace. Psalm 145:16, "You open your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing." Psalm 46:9 also mentions, "He is bringing an end to wars throughout the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the military wagons with fire." We wait until the day when both Jehovah God and Jesus Christ bring lasting peace. (New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures)
