DUring WW2 the African American oppurtunity's didn't change much. Obviously they were able to find more jobs in factories and such. But Also Alot of American's joined the U.S armed forces. Unfortunatly the African American's were commonly used as "cannon fodder" so that the army could test enemy deffenses or simply run the enemy low on ammo so that the white soldiers would have a better chance of victory.
It increased economic opportunities for many African Americans.
The Old World includes continents Africa, Asia, ans Europe. They were the part of the world the Europeans already knew about before meeting the Americans.
The European slave traders brought slaves to the New World from Africa. So many native Americans had died of smallpox that they couldn't be used for labor.
The colony of Rio de Oro in Africa was able to provide more products for trade. Spain was able to take over and become a world power.

Sadly, I see no evidence that violence in the world has ended. Look at what is happening in eastern Congo, or in Zimbabwe, both in Africa, at the moment.
One view: Over so many generations of being in the New World, African Americans are no longer attached to their native Africa and have developed a unique African American culture.Another view: Because they are not nor were they ancestors from "Africa" like it is often portrayed, but are descendants of Israel. The connection is not there to Africa because it wasn't truly ever.
