This policy was called unrestricted submarine warfare
1. German invasions 2.German sinking of Americas Ship
Two key German actions that prompted the U.S. to enter World War I were unrestricted submarine warfare and the Zimmermann Telegram. The German navy's policy of sinking ships without warning, including those carrying American passengers, angered the U.S. Additionally, the Zimmermann Telegram, in which Germany proposed a military alliance with Mexico against the U.S., further inflamed American public opinion and pushed the U.S. toward war. These actions contributed significantly to the U.S. decision to join the Allies in 1917.

Yes, German U-boats will attack any ship or vessel going to Britain, without warning. Even if the country that the ship is coming from is neutral.
I think you mean the U-boats. And they were concerned, if you mean at the beginning of WWI, because the Germans were sinking ships without warning, including passenger ships, namely, the US ship Lusitania. The U-boats were also sinking ships from neutral countries. They made a promise to stop, but continued anyway. This led directly to the US entering WWI.So, to make a long story short, they were sinking innocent ships.
No. But the US was selling arms to Britain and German U-boats were sinking US freighters in the North Atlantic.
Blitz - short for Blitzkrieg - lightning strike. Answer: The Blitz had nothing to do with blitzkrieg. The term "Blitz" was originated by the British press (maybe because, like lightning, it came from the sky without real warning and caused damage).

By sinking them!
The RMS Lusitania is very famous because it was sunk by a German submarine during World War I. There was a huge loss of life and many passengers were American. The sinking of the Lusitania was one of the major reasons why the United States entered WWI and it was used a lot for propaganda.
