Russia didn't care who died. They didn't have upgraded weaponry to defend or attack. On the Russian field, 1 out of 10 guns would work.

Hitler is elected to a position of power as chancellor, and after the president of Germany dies, Hitler takes controle merging the position of supreme chancellor and president into one position and claiming himslef Führer or "Leader" of Germany taking controle of the military and Basically all of Germany. Through this we see how the unfair treatment of countries can lead to the rise of people like Hitler, and help contribute to starting the most destructive war the world has ever seen.
