Why does money rule the world?

According to 2 Timothy 3: 16,17, The Bible is a letter from God and beneficial for our teaching. This is what it has this to say in the Book of 1 Timothy 6: 10 " For the love of money is a root of all sorts of injurious things, and by reaching out for this love some have been led astray from faith and have stabbed themselves all over with many pains.."

1John 5: 19 tell us who have led the world astray from faith in these words. " The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one. Revelation 12: 9 tells us who is the wicked one in these words. "The original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth". Genesis chapter 3 shows when the original serpent has begun his career, which is the root of mankind's history and downfall.

Hebrew 13: 5 reads. " Let your way of life be free of the love of money, while you are content with the present things. For he said ( God said) " I will never leave you, and I will never abandon you".

The Book of Ecclesiastes 7: 12 teaches " For wisdom is a protection just as money is a protection, but the advantage of knowledge is this: Wisdom preserves the life of its owner".

This Scripture was written by the wise King Solomon and he has this to say in Ecclesiastes 12: 13,14. " The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole abligation of man. for the true God will judge every deed, including every hidden thing, as whether it is good or bad."

So to answer your question: Money is important but the day that money drives us away from doing the right thing, we are no longer in line with what is expected from our heavenly Father's standards. It is also easy to understand why money is controlling our world which is under the influence of the one who is misleading the entire inhabited earth to its downfall.

Jeremiah 10: 23 has this to say. " It does not belong to man even to direct his step" All those who will choose God as their guide, will be led to a happier life now and in the future.

According to Psalms 37: 29: " The righteous will possess the earth and they will live forever on it, which has always been God's purpose and has not changed.

That was the life that was offered to Adam and Eve. Read Genesis 2: 17. Adam knew that if he did not eat from the tree from knowledge of good and bad he would not die. That command found in Genesis 2: 17 would have made no sense if Adam was meant to grow old and die anyway.

1 John 5: 20 shows that Jesus came on earth to give us insight so we can gain knowledge of the one who is true. And in Matthew 6: 9,10 Jesus told us to pray for his Father's kingdom to come, where His will, will take place as in heaven also on earth.

God's kingdom or ( government ) is a prophecy that the Book of Daniel 2. 44 outlines, in these words. "The God of heaven will set up a kingdom ( government ) that will never be destroyed".

So we are all free to take our stand for God's government or for Satan's misleading world, where the love of  money is in full swing. Read 2 Timothy 3: 1-5.
