Actually this one is quite obvious- probably not. Dont get me wrong, as weird and ironic as it may seem I would LOVE vampires to be real. Gives me a chance at becoming the next Bella lol :P But let me provide some of the reasons as to why the instances in Twilight are most likely impossible to iccur in reality.

1. Vampires- eternally thriving creatures that are gorgeous in appearance and feed on animal and/or human blood. If such creatures did exist, how would human populations remain consistent or grow?

2. Vampires sparkle when made contact with sunlight. This would have to mean that a minority of the "human" population would have never come in contact with the outdoor during great outdoor weathers. Is it possible- perhaps. Is it likely to happen without anyone realizing it or without any mistakes happening- certainly not.

3. Vampires possess inhuman physical characteristics, and they have much more strength and speed than any human ever. How is it possible that not a single vampire slipped and accidentally raced unusually fast in front of human beings, or broke a wall or carried an object much too heavy for a human to carryeffortlessly?

4. How come no one has ever noticed that a minority of the human population never ages? In the Twilight Saga, the Cullens and the rest of the vampires assimilate into society and move around a lot. However, how can they keep from the government- the ones who keep the records of everyone in society- not realize this?

There are, perhaps, many more reasons as to why the events in the Twilight Saga are most likely impossible to occur in reality. Still, a novel is a novel. In it, one can create a magical world and enable people to fantasize, as did Stephenie Meyers. For this, I applaud and admire Meyers, and will forever cherish the beauty and magic in the Twilight Saga
