After this they go play some vampire Baseball while it's thundering. During this event, the blood thirsty vampires come. (Not the Cullen's) James tries to face off Edward to get to Bella when the wind blows. Alice and Jasper both take Bella to Phoenix. Then, Bella gets a strange call to home, the monster who was there was none other then ... James.... He tells her to meet him at her old Ballet studio, Mimi's, and not to bring anyone. Bella listens to James' command. James tricks Bella by putting a film on the phone. (Threatened that he had Renee, Bella's mother) James then tries to bite Bella, following this Edward comes in 1st , because one of his skills is being very fast, faster then anyone else. Edward rips part of James' throat of. The only way to kill a vampire is to tare it to pieces and throw it into the fire. When the rest of the Cullen's come they fight him off, but Alice, Carlisle, and Edward help save Bella when blood gushes out of her skin. Alice, with help from Jasper and Emmett kill James. Victoria ran away thinking she was next. Edward then bites Bella and can not stop for a few seconds. He eventually does though. Bella then finds herself in a hospital with Renee. Edward tells Bella that James broke her leg. When Bella returns home, Edward takes her to prom, also called Monte Carlo. While this happens Edward said "Hold on, I'll be right back", Jacob Black comes back in and tells her a couple words from his father to her. When Edward comes back and Jacob leaves he says "I leave you alone for a second and the wolves descent", said Edward after Jacob leaves. In the end they dance and Bella says she's ready to become a vampire. Edward then kisses her neck, and says " Isn't it enough to live a long and happy life with me?" Except for the gorgeous Edward Cullen, who was single. But Jessica, having been apparently snubbed by him before, told her that he didn't think that any one there was good enough for him.

It was then that Bella noticed something strange about the Cullens. They were all different. Alice was thin in the extreme, pixie like, with short inky hair. Jasper was tall with curly blonde hair. Rosalie was the incarnation of beauty with blonde hair that gently curled down her back. Emmett was burly, and he looked huge next to his bronze haired brother, Edward. Edward was the most beautiful of them all. He was perfect.

Although they were all different, they were all the same. Same beautiful, perfectly angular facial features. Same dark circles under their eyes. They sat together as far from her as was possible, not eating.

In her Biology class, her teacher assigned her to the only empty chair: the one beside Edward Cullen. But when she sat down, she noticed that he looked angry. He glared at her murderously. She noticed he looked like he smelled something bad. When the bell rang for class, he stood up and strode from the room faster than she would've thought was possible. At the end of the day, she went to the office, only to find Edward trying to switch from Biology hour 6 to a different hour. Any other hour. She felt like she was the reason.

The next day he was absent. And the next. And the next. She couldn't help feeling like it was her fault. But she couldn't figure it out. How could someone she had never met hate her?

A week later, Edward returned. And apparently his sour mood had vanished. He talked to her in biology. Asked her about why she endured the rainy wetness of Forks. He seemed vitally interested. Then she noticed something. When he had glared at her, he had had black eyes. Today they were a deep golden. So she blurted out, "did you get contacts?" His answer was no. She wondered why he would lie about that.

One day when it was icy out, Bella drove to school without trouble in her ancient Chevy truck. When she got out of her truck she noticed something shiny on her tire. Charlie had gotten up early and put snow chains on her tires. She was moved with this silent concern. Then she heard a squeal. When she looked around she noticed several things. First Edward Cullen was staring at her beside his Volvo across the lot with Horror. Then she saw Tyler Crowley's van coming at her spinning.

Then, all of a sudden, something cold and hard was pinning her to the ground. Hands shot out in front of her and the van shuddered to a stop. Then the van hit the back of her truck and was coming for her again. The hands pushed her legs out of the way and lifted up the van adjusting it so it wouldn't hit her.

Bella looked at Edward in shock. She asked how he had gotten over to him so quickly and he explained that he had been standing right beside her. He looked at her as if he were explaining something crucial so she played along. At the hospital she tried to get the truth from him, but he wouldn't budge, insisting that she hit her head and didn't know what she was talking about. But she knew she was right and that he was hiding something.

He ignored her for a while but eventually started to talk to her again. Michael, a boy who had the qualities of a golden retriever, asked her the girls choice dance. But she rejected him nicely telling him that she would be in seatle that day. But then Eric Chon, an overly helpful chess club type, asked her as well. She gave him the same excuse. Later, Tyler Crowley tried to make it up to her by taking her to the dance, but she rejected him as well, but he was determined for prom.

While helping her friends Angela and jess shop for dresses in port angeles, she decided to look for a book store. On her way she got lost and four men found her. But Edward swooped in to save her. When she met back up with Jess and Ang, they hadalready eaten so he took her toeat. And he weasled out of her the theories of himand what had happened that day. She thought he might be bitten by a radioactive spider or something but he told her no. He revealed to her that he could hear people's thoughts. But he didn't tell her what he was.

But while she was at first beach on the Quiluete Reservation before this she flirted with Jacob Black, a native there. He told her a legend about the Quiluetes. They had supposedly decended from wolves. The werewolves had only one enemy. The cold ones. The cold ones had formed a coven near their reservation but they claimed to be good and not evil. So they made a treaty never to come on their land and the natives wouldn't expose them to the pale faces. The cold ones were blood drinkers. Vampires.

She told Edward this theory. And it was confirmed. He told her that he drank animal blood only.

He became obsessed with her, spending time with her, carrying her to school.

instead of going to seatle he took her to a meadow. He showed her what he looked like in the sun. he looked like he had thousands of diamonds imbedded in the surface of his skin. He was super fast, about two hundred km a second. He was super strong. Able to lift trains with one hand.

Then he took her to play baseballwith his family in a clearing in the woods. they need the thunder cus when they hit the ball it sounds like thunder and it als does when they run into each other. while playing, three new vamps came. One was a tracker. They drank human blood. James wanted Bella. he was going to track her. so Emmett, Alice and edward took her from the clearing and Bella came up with a plan, they would go back to charlie's tell him she was going home and the tracker would hear. he would never think that she would reallygo where she said she would be. edward would stay behind so he would know that she wasn't with him. Alice and jasper took her to phoenix and they stayed in a motel.

Bella called her mom's house and left a message givingher her number. when she called she called Bella's name frantically. then when Bella got the phone James came on. telling her to go to her house and she would find instructions ... she would have to come alone.

when in the airport she went to a bathroom with two exits. and she made a run for it. she went to her house and found a number. she called it and he told her to meet him at the ballet studio on the corner.

when she got there it was a ruse. he used a home video with her mom's voice. he had a video camera hoping edward would come to avenge her. we find out that his only other victim toget away was Alice and someone changed her. she didn't rememebr her human life at all cus she was in an insane asylumj and always in the dark.

just when he bit her, the cullens arrived. carlisle was sewing her up. edward stayed. the rest killed James. but the venom was spreading. and edward sucked out the venom, which is hard and he almost couldn't stop. but he did

at the end, renee tried to get Bella to come home and she wanted to stay in forks. and edward told her that he shouldn't be with her because he ws the reason she was there in the hospital, but that he would stay as long as it was good enough for her.

the epilogue he was taking her to prom in a blue frilly dress and Alice fixed her up.

while at prom Jacob black is bribed by his dad to tell Bella to break up with her bf and they'd be watching.

she tried to convince edward to change her to a vamp but he doesn't want to end her human life. but she wouldn't give up.....

In the book Twilight, Bella Swan moves to Forks, Washington to live with her dad and meets an odd but beautiful boy, Edward Cullen, who looks 17 but is really like 109 years old. Edward and his family of sorts are all vampires, good "vegitarian" vampires who feed on the blood of animals and not humans. The scent of Bella's blood drives Edward insane with thirst and longing, so as they grow closer and fall in love, he tries and tries to resist his thirst and keep his love alive. As they fall in love, Edward's life proves too dangerous for Bella, especially when 3 nomads (vampires who hunt the traditional way and travel where ever and whenever they please) come along and one of them, James, who is a tracker decides that he wants to kill Bella. As the entire Cullen family come together to protect Bella from James and his mate Victoria, Bella decides that it is too dangerous for her father and everyone else for her to stay in Forks, so she goes to Phoenix, accompanied by Alice and Jasper (Edwards "siblings") to hopefully get away from James, when he finds Bella and tells her that he has her mother in a ruse to lure her out of hiding. When Bella escapes on her own to go save her mother, she encounters James alone and he attacks her and gives her multiple injuries such as a broken leg and ribs, a large head womb, and a bite mark on her wrist. That's right, he bit her! As Bella screams in agony while the vampire's venom makes its way through her bloodstream, the Cullens track her sown and kill James. While his family takes care of James, Edward sucks the venom out of Bella's wrist, saving her life. After she is released from the hospital and heads back to Forks, Edward drags Bella to their school prom, where Bella tells Edward that she wants to be with him forever, and that can only happen if she is a vampire.
