How do you know Leslie Burke didn't die?

who told you she didn't die?? she died. she was trying to swing across the rope over creek to go to terabithia alone while jess was busy with ms. edmunds in the museum.. and the rope torn apart and she hit her head causing unconcious and she drowned.

Leslie Burke dies when Jess goes to a National Gallery in Washington with Miss Edumunds and she goes to Teribithia without him. This is sometime during Spring. She swings on a rope which broke and hit her head on a rock (this is not confirmed though many characters deem it likely) and drowns in the creek while she was unconscious.
