Jayfeather does some investigating and with the help from Mousefur and longtail he is able to find some clues. he also has a great memory of what he had smelled after he was born, and he remembers that he had smelled a nother cat besides Squirrelflight. When he pieces the clues together he figures out that its Leafpool. She will then tell him that his father is Crowfeather.

I've never read the book myself, but I know the main events. Everyone is trying to find out who killed Ashfur, but most of the clan think Windclan is responsible. Firestar brings a patrol to windclan to ask if they knew anything about Ashfur's death. Onestar gets angry and sends them away. Then Ashfoot comes and tells them that she saw sol the other time. After that, a patrol goes to find sol, only to find purdy with him. The patrol brings both back to camp and purdy joins the elder's den. I'm not sure what happened to sol, but that he left. They found out sol did not kill Ashfur. Also, after the previous book, Lionblaze, Jayfeather, and Hollyleaf are trying to find out who their real parents are. Lionblaze fears that they are not part of the prophacy. They soon find out that Leafpool and Crowfeather are their real parents. Sorry, but that's all I know.
When does cinderheart find out that lionblaze is part of the prophecy?
When Lionblaze comes back from fighting the fox alone and is not hurt, Cinderheart worries about him and then Lionblaze finally tells her about the prophecy and she becomes upset and says that she cannot be with him because his destiny is much greater than hers.

Will Cinderheart and Lionblaze be together again?
Erin Hunter has not admitted to them being a couple...... yet. But in Fading Echoes on a starry night Lionblaze and Cinderheart go out for a walk. During that walk Lionblaze realizes that he feels affection for Cinderheart, but it is unknown if she likes him back. well in night whispers they almost be come mates but a fox was loss in the forest so lionblaze fought it. After his fight he was covered in blood cinderheart saw him an freak she ran back to the clan. after lionblaze get check out by jayfeather he and cinderheart talk and he try to convince her that hes ok by telling her about her powers. she freaks and then says she cant be his mate because he has to great of a destiny, lionblaze is left sad, confuse and angry. stupid right

Did lionblaze ever get back with cinderheart?
we are still not sure but in Erin hunter chat it says that cinderheart might find out she is really cinderpelt. so mabye she will forgive him because she realizes they are both different.
