How does Jasper try to kill Bella?

In New Moon, he attacks her because she gets a paper cut opening the presents and he is the family's most recent vegetarian. He can't control himself.

It may also be because he can feel others emotions. so it's possible that he felt the other Cullen's blood lust.That could have been the reason he had lost control, with not only his own but the other vampires blood lust too.(improved by: ngelina)

Bella had her birthday with the Cullens! and she wuz bout to open her present from Alice and Jasper..... and then she said "oh, crap" cuz she had a paper cut so then jasper as some no are not like edward,Esme,carsisle,Alice,emmet and rosalie. she is learning not to hunt humas...but wen Bella gets her papaer cut he smells her blood and he tries to get to her then edward throws himself in front of Bella so she wont get hurt!
